10 reasons why you should watch pink - the movie

10 reasons why you should watch pink

1) Amitabh Bachchan - actor par excellence , his silence speaks louder than words and when he speaks the courtroom feels small , really small & his sardonic sense of humour

2) it's not about candle night marches or women crusaders but regular issues which a women faces and the reality that unfolds

3) the three leading girls .. Gutsy , brave and independent and an important scene around why we need to know more about Meghalaya

4) the policewomen who lies through her teeth when she is  questioned by the man who has no bad hair day - Amitabh Bachchan and the golden handshake she gets at the end from the great man

5) the judge who for a change does not go bombastic but appears quite reasonable taking in both sides of the argument with an even head

6) the supporting cast of the actors and the friends who look and sound perfect for the role .. Getting the Delhi lingo just right

7) this movie is not about jazzy production values , item numbers or slapstick comedy .. But content and real issues

8) this movie will inspire you to run and get that mask altitude training mask which AB uses

9) the background score , the early mornings and late evenings of Delhi

10) last but certainly not the least .. The last time I had seen a good courtroom drama was in a few good men .. Pink beats this by a big margin as it deals with real reasons, does not offer solutions wrapped in colourful paper

Hello shekhar,

When you are reading and reviewing books again, would you be interested in reviewing my book, Devil Out Of Texas ?

https://www.amazon.com/Devil-Out-Texas-Roger-Raffee-ebook/dp/B01L6O9X8I/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1472555961&sr=1-1&keywords=devil+out+of+texas

I just posted it for sale as an ebook in Amazon. Please let me know what I need to do or send you in order to have it reviewed. It's 449 pages.

Here is the brief synopsis I posted with the book:

In the summer of 1973, a fourteen year old kid spends time with his grandfather and his friends, George Burns, Jack Benny, Georgie Jessel, and others, as they play cards at the Hillcrest Country Club near Beverly Hills, California. He later sits down to listen as his grandfather tells him the action-packed tale of his great-grandfather, the first Jewish Texas Ranger, and how his grandfather came to Hollywood to become one of the pioneers of the movie industry.
The young man learns about how his grandfather came to be friends with the early stars of the silver screen, like Tom Mix, William S. Hart, Lionel Barrymore, and Doug Fairbanks, and his grandfather's association with the great Mexican revolutionary leader Pancho Villa, the famous lawman Wyatt Earp, and other fascinating characters.

Thank you,

-Roger Raffee
